The Entrepreneurship Living and Learning Community was built as a residential learning space. To promote the new building and its concept, I developed a script with a quick cadence that reflected the energy of entrepreneurship. I was responsible for every aspect of the video from writing the script, storyboarding, hiring the videographers, hiring the voice talent (a Bowie State Student), and overseeing its production.

Great Falls Studios is a consortium of artists in Great Falls, Virginia. The artists open their studios to visitors over a long weekend in October. Many have studios in their homes. This video was created for the uninitiated, as an introduction to the tour and it’s artists.

The fate the historic manor house and grounds has been a point of contention for the residents of the City of Bowie since the 19th Century plantation was sold to developers in the 1980s. Several plans to transform the property have failed leaving the estate in the midst of an industrial park.

Information about the house and office park were not readily available. The project required extensive research into the history of the house, the plantation, and the county; the history of slavery and run away slaves in Prince George’s County; and the chain of ownership of Melford.
