I am a creative director with 20 years of experience leading in-house design teams in creating award-winning marketing campaigns, publications, and event materials. My expertise encompasses web design, website management, social media, print and magazine design, editing, and video production.
I work collaboratively with designers, writers, internal clients, stakeholders, external partners, and vendors to discover and express an institution’s unique voice and through engaging marketing campaigns.

This March, I was laid off from Washington College due to budget cuts. I am actively looking for work.
My Story
​I began my career as an art director in 2001, managing the junior design team for The George Washington University’s marketing department. While my daughter was in high school, I moved closer to home, managing graphic designers and a photographer for Prince George’s Community College for six years. After my daughter left for college, I returned to Washington, DC, working as the Communications Director for an art conservation non-profit and for the Center for Applied Linguistics.
From 2013 to 2021, I served as Assistant Director of Creative Services for Bowie State University, the oldest HBCU in Maryland. Bowie State launched the highly successful "Bowie Bold" campaign in 2018. In 2021, I moved to the Eastern Shore, where held the position of Director of Creative Services for Washington College for three years.
My MFA in Integrated Design (web, video, and graphic design) is from the University of Baltimore.
